About Lane

Robert Hill Lane is a UTK - 6 elementary school in the Los Angeles Unified School District located in Monterey Park, CA. It was recently recognized once again a California Distinguished School in 2020. We educate students in grades Universal Transition Kindergarten through sixth, with this year's enrollment at approximately 300 students. Lane is known for its commitment to academic excellence, strong parent support and involvement, and positive learning environment. An outstanding staff of dedicated teachers ensures that each child continues to strive to reach his/her fullest potential. The teachers feel that it is important to provide instructional activities that encourage children to become responsible, contributing, tolerant citizens, while focusing on the pursuit of academic knowledge.
